Soon, "Grapperie Aperte" 2014: the event of the Grappa National Institute that enhances and spreads the knowledge of the Italian distillate. All lovers of the Italian distillate are invited, on Sunday, 5th October, to the distilleries members throughout the country.
"Grapperie Aperte" 2014: Grappa is the protagonist
The participating distilleries open their doors to visitors and offer exciting opportunities for the curious ones and lovers: free or guided tastings, visits to the distilleries among stills and barrel rooms, where Grappa ages. Some distilleries offer pairings with gastronomic delights typical of their local area and the presentation of the novelties in the productions of individual distilleries.

«The event has always been of great interest – the President of the Grappa National Institute Elvio Bonollo said – and this tells us that the art of distillation, particularly appreciated abroad, where Grappa is seen as a symbol of Italian way of life, is actually a fascinating heritage to be discovered even by many Italians who do not know in detail how it is made and how much history and tradition is hidden in every drop that comes out of the still».
