Alambicco del Garda 2013: the best grappa

48 are the grappa types tasted at the 18th ?Alambicco del Garda?, the interregional competition organized by ANAG.
As well as 32 grappa types obtained "excellent" as evaluations. Nine grappa types achieved the best scoring in their category. In the interregional competition 48 grappa types produced by 13 companies took part. The sensory analysis of the products was made by 15 tasters of ANAG (National Association of grappa and other spirits tasters) of three regions: Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige.
The judging parameters were linked to visual, olfactory and gustatory-olfactory judgments. Here are the categories in the competition: young grappa, aromatic young grappa, refined grappa, aromatic refined grappa, aged grappa, aromatic aged grappa, grappa of Groppello, and grape distillates (Acquaviti).
