From April 29th to May 3rd, the Wine Spectator’s Grand Tour 2014 will touch New York, the most famous city in America, Washigton, the political capital, Las Vegas, the incarnation of the American dream. These grand tour
are very expected by American wine lovers (http://assets.winespectator.com/wso/html/grandtour.html). 200 are the wines that the wine bible has chosen to take with them.
Chateaux Margaux and Château Haut–Brion from France, Penfolds and Jacob’s Creek from Australia, Concha y Toro from Chile, Numanthia from Spain, or Inglenook from California. This are just some of the big names that will enliven the Grand Tour: the Italy of wine will have a decisive role with as many as 60 wine labels, reflecting the passion of Americans for Italian wine. Indeed, it is the number one by volume and value in the U.S. market. With many excellent wineries, from Piedmont to Sicily, a further sign of a very high standard reached by now in every part of Italy.
