It was the act of surrender of the Kingdom of Sardinia. But if then the future emperor imposed the surrender, today it would be he who surrendered in the face of the very rich month of October which in Cherasco includes a succession of food and wine, cultural and antiques events.
Gusta Cherasco , the “live” version of the Association for the promotion of excellent agri-food products and food and wine tourism in the Cherasco area, will be staged on Saturday 23rd from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm and Sunday 24th from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm.
In Piazza Arco del Belvedere you can meet the typical flavors and great wines not only of the territory but of different regions of Italy. Cheeses, meats, saffron, desserts, vegetables and gastronomic surprises that will leave you with a delicious taste in your mouth .
WINE APPOINTMENTS
It will be possible to participate in the Master Classes organized by the Banca del Vino which will be present in Cherasco representing about fifteen wineries from south to north of the beautiful country: one of which will be dedicated to Brunello di Montalcino .
There will also be Master Classes also for the Barolos of the western side curated by Fabrizio Stecca.
The friends of the Strada del Barolo will present the Wine Tasting Experience - "the crus of Barolo" - a virtual journey through the geographical mentions of Barolo at the Church of San Gregorio on Saturday at 3.30 pm. Also on Saturday at 5.30 pm the Wine Tasting Experience - "the taste of the territory" - introductory itinerary among the most characteristic productions of Piedmont at the Church of San Gregorio .
Both Wine Tasting Experiences will be curated by the sommelier Mario Bevione and the fixed cost is 25 euros per person.
Barolo yes, but for the great wines of Piedmont there will also be Barbera, Arneis and Dolcetto and the wines of the Young Vignaioli Canavesani will attend the event.
RESTAURANT OF GUSTA CHERASCO
During the days of Gusta Cherasco, the restaurant run by Melograno Catering of Cherasco will be active and will serve dishes prepared with typical local products.
SPORT / E-BIKE
For E-Bike enthusiasts we recommend the opportunity to participate in the guided tour in the vineyards of the neighboring towns of Cherasco in the company of certified guides. The starting point of the tour is in front of the Town Hall.

AperiTOSCANO : the historic Vermouth of the Contratto company meets the most famous stortignaccolo in Italy for a delicious aperitif with the protagonists of ancient origins with a strong link to the territory of origin ... last but not least the sweet pearls of the historic Barbero pastry shop . Cost 10 euros per person.
Tastings with spirits are reserved for over 18s and old and new members of the Amici del Toscano Club (free registration on site). The proceeds will be totally donated to the Gusta Cherasco Association.

CULTURE
At the same time, for art lovers, we remind you that the exhibition is set up at the prestigious Palazzo Salmatoris: “From Kandinsky to Warhol the Art of the Twentieth Century in the manifesto”, an exhibition that will remain on display until December 19th. Free admission - Saturday and Sunday from 09.30 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 19.00
