These actions are considered necessary in the awareness of the centrality that food and wine tourism, craftsmanship and hospitality represent. A sector that is in fact a strategic lever for the economic recovery of the country and the main tool for enhancing Made in Italy.
It is the first time that such a representative initiative has been carried out in Italy. Its genesis is linked to the belief that, especially in such a difficult and unpredictable situation, the common good must overcome all types of individualism. Only a coordinated and synergistic action is able to guarantee an effective approach and a concrete result, without which it is difficult to leave the tunnel.
In this regard, given the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Hon. Pier Paolo Baretta, the sector's appeal will also be presented during today's "New Scenarios of Gastronomic Entrepreneurship" webinar promoted by the Italian Association Taste Ambassadors together with LUM Jean Monnet University. The meeting will begin at 15:00 and will be broadcast via the university and association social channels.
The will of all members of this collective appeal is that the work put in place to respond to the emergency generated by the pandemic does not end with the ceased danger, but that it becomes a project, a basis for restarting. A stimulus for the consolidation of a unified working method to make a common front in all those occasions when it will be necessary to get the voice of Italian catering.
