Fiere di Parma and GDONews synergy for foreign buyers! AGREEMENT BETWEEN PARMA FAIRS AND GDONEWS TO ENHANCE THE CONTENT OF THE MYBUSINESSCIBUS DIGITAL PLATFORM.

Fiere di Parma and the magazine GDONews have signed a partnership agreement to strengthen the digital platform "MyBusinessCibus". The GDONews manuals on the various product categories of Made in Italy food will be translated into English and sent to all top international buyers. Buyers will also be able to benefit from exclusive content on the www.mybusiness.cibus.it page and further information content in the newsletter that Cibus periodically sends to the international food & beverage community.

Foreign buyers will therefore have real in-depth manuals on each individual product category to plan category activities both before the event within www.mybusinesscibus.it and during the Cibus exhibition (a Parma from 4 to 7 May 2021), but with a wealth of knowledge sufficient and worthy only of final verification in B2B meetings.

GDONews, on the other hand, with this partnership agreement, can expand its penetration also abroad and thanks to its distinctiveness, which is concretized in the creation of original contents designed for buyers in the execution of their trade, and with particular emphasis on category studies and the financial soundness of companies, it will also be a valid support for the foreign buyer.

Fiere di Parma has created the digital platform www.mybusiness.cibus.it with the aim of creating a virtual fair, open 365 days a year, complementary to the Cibus exhibition, which has taken on an annual basis. The advent of the pandemic accelerated the project, which is now fully operational. Thanks to MyBusinessCibus, professional operators organize online meetings and study assortments with their respective suppliers.

Fiere di Parma has therefore created a partnership with an online communication magazine of the Italian mass market retail, the online sector magazine GDONews, to build a collaborative project towards a permanent updating and sourcing platform dedicated to operators where the products, the culture of Italian food production, business and b2b comparisons are a constant that the national and international buyer will be able to exploit all year round as part of their daily work.

" The Fairs sector is destined to consolidate also through alliances with specialized publishers, returning, however, to its origins - said Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma - In fact the digital revolution of our business model, accelerated by the pandemic, requires a content growth; content that must be conveyed to our audience, both on site (with smart exhibition formats, factory & educational tour, and more) and online (e-sourcing platforms, business agenda, category knowledge). With GdoNews in general, and Andrea Meneghini in particular, we immediately found this harmonious integration ".

The Cibus fair is our ambassador of food production in the world, a historical and at the same time young and dynamic institution - underlined Andrea Meneghini, responsible for editorial content of GDONews for Mass Market Retail - GDONews is a reference for managers of the Italian GDO, over time we have built an informative and at the same time training container. The use of modern technologies belongs to us, just see our presence on professional social networks. It is a pride to be able to accompany Cibus and its expert helmsman, Antonio Cellie, to the large-scale retail trade all over the world, bringing our food excellence to the tables of international buyers ".
