The objective of the Forum is to contribute to the definition of a strategy, shared by all the actors involved, which manages to increase domestic food consumption as well as exports. It will be a physical event, but also digital, with 4 sessions of debate and an exhibition offer where food and food technologies companies will present operators with the latest industry news and Made in Italy best practices.
The meeting will be attended by the most representative representatives of the food industry, agriculture, modern distribution and the political and institutional world.
As can be seen from the (provisional) program, below and in the annex, three government representatives will speak in Parma: Luigi Di Maio, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Teresa Bellanova, Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies; Sergio Costa, Minister of the Environment.
Catherine Geslain Lanéelle, Deputy Head of Cabinet, EU Agriculture Commissioner will also speak; MEP Paolo De Castro; Roberto Luongo, ICE Agency Director; Stefano Bonaccini, Governor of the Emilia-Romagna Region; Federico Pizzarotti, Mayor of Parma.
And again, representatives of the Ministries of Economic Development, Health, Technological Innovation and Digitization as well as René Salazar Castro, Deputy Director General of the Climate, Biodiversity, Land and Water Department, FAO.
The world of the food industry will be represented by Ivano Vacondio, Federalimentare President and will see the participation of the major companies (some of which will exhibit their new products) and the reports of various captains of industry such as Nicola Levoni, MOB FoodDrinkEurope, Francesco Mutti, CEO Mutti SpA, Zefferino Monini, President of Olio Monini, Guido Barilla, President of Gruppo Barilla SpA, Chiara Rossetto, CEO of Molino Rossetto SpA.
The panel on agriculture will include: Ettore Prandini, President Coldiretti, Massimiliano Giansanti, President of Confagricoltura; Dino Scanavino, CIA President; Giuseppe Ambrosi, President of Assolatte, Alessandra Ravaioli (National Association of Women of Fruit and Vegetables).
Marco Pedroni, President of COOP Italia and Giorgio Santambrogio, CEO of the VéGé Group (respectively New President and former President of ADM Associazione Distribuzione Distribuzione Moderna) will take the floor. And again: Alessandra Corsi, Marketing Director and Conad MDD; Eleonora Graffione, President of the Coralis Consortium; Grazia De Gennaro, Head of Communications Maiora - Central South Despar.
