In a courteous dinner young people choose cork because for them it means quality



18 – 35 years old young people, although inexperienced, prefer cork because it increases their idea of quality. In a dinner date they choose "good wine with cork".

The fascination of cork seduces young people because it conveys an idea of quality. They choose quality wines for an important gift or a courteous dinner. To say this, a AstraRicerche survey, commissioned by the promotion campaign of the Intercork II cork.

A romantic dinner accompanied by fine wine is the trend that emerges from qualitative research signed by Professor Andrea Rea of the Wine management lab of the Bocconi University of Milan, "New consumers of wine and implications towards a positioning of quality of Italian wine", focused on millennials born between the 80s and the early 90s.

Young people are a really strategic public for wine as they are hardly affected or influenced by previous experiences, and are a benchmark for industry operators.
