Yesterday morning, Jan. 25, at the Quirinale Palace there was the celebration of the "Day of Quality Italy2.
President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano was there along with representatives of the European Leonardo Italian Quality Committee and many members of Made in Italy that promote the image, style and excellence of Italy in the world.
Naolitano reward Piero Antinori, Marchesi Antinori President with the "Leonardo Award" 2011 , thus celebrating the excellence of Italian wine in the world. The decision was taken by a wide and qualified jury who indicated Antinori as the winner, recognizing him as an Italian personality that has helped significantly to affirm and promote the prestige of Italiy.
This prize confirm that wine in Italy can represent the best in the world.
