The beauty of the Venetian lands and the heritage of wine are chronicled in the documentary "SYMPHONY BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH. A JOURNEY THROUGH THE VENETO WINES" by Massimo Zanichelli on request of the Union Consortia Veneto Wines. It will have an international distribution.
Presented at the Teatro La Fenice in the presence of Luca Zaia, Governor of the Veneto Region.
Symphony between Heaven and Earth: the documentary about the wines from Veneto
An "on the road" journey along the ten main areas of Veneto wine from Lake Garda to the Piave river through the wonders of the Veneto region: the clays of Lugana, the Custoza hills, the valleys of Valpolicella, the volcanic hills of Soave and of the Euganean Hills, the vineyards of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco.
The director, Massimo Zanichelli, has traveled across the Venetian lands with poetic eye and with care in telling the wine-making gems of this region, fielding all his skills as wine writer, documentary filmmaker and cinema professor.
"This documentary aims to be a journey through the colors, the faces and the scenaries of Veneto wine, a story told in the first person by the winemakers, real guarantors of a viticultural and oenological heritage that over time has been able to express itself with white, red, sparkling and raisin wines of character and personality. With this film I hope to be able to communicate to the public the soul of this region, a territory I am very close to, that I know very well and that never ceases to amaze me. "
Zanichelli shoots a choral narration between heaven and earth, faces and voices of the producers who meets along the way catching the authentic Venetian wine soul, among stories of families and breathtaking sceneries including boundless vineyards and native grapes, among vintage villas and historic wineries.
