The Wine Road of Valpolicella launched a great Competition dedicated to the art of painting. The competition is open to all Italian and foreign artists, and is designed to raise awareness and appreciation about history, beauty, culture and products of the historical Valpolicella.
The winning and recommended works will be exhibited at the wineries in the last two Sundays of the VAL ... POLIS ... CELLAE event, organized by the Wine Road of Valpolicella in occasion of the harvest.
Two are the sections:
-Oil, acrylics and/or similar paintings;
-Watercolors, drawings and original engravings on paper or metal.
The works must depict natural, landscape and/or architectural beauties, as well as special features, characters, farmings and/or products within the following municipalities: Negrar, Marano, San Pietro in Cariano, Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo, Fumane, Pescantina, Sant'Ambrogio, Dolcè, and also the fraction Parona of the municipality of Verona.
The delivery of the works is from 27th to 29th September 2013, from 9:00 am to 12:00 am, at the San Vito Hotel in Negrar, where the awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 3rd November 2013.
