Vedicchio, an award–winning Italian white wine is on the piste with Vezzali–Di Francisca. The Olympic champions bring fencing to "Senigallia in the heart" (30th July) for the flood victims in the town
Valentina Vezzali, bronze at the World Championships being held in Kazan, and Elisa Di Francisca, from Marche, get on piste alongside Verdicchio on 30th July, on the occasion of "Senigallia in the heart", the charitable initiative for the flood victims of Senigallia at Foro Annonario.
The two Italian women, gold medal at the European Championships in 2014, and the Marche Institute for the Protection of Wines, join together for a charity event with strokes of foil and tastings.
At the event there will be also the President of the Marche Region, Gian Mario Spacca and the former world champion and fencing master, Giovanna Trillini.
The Verdicchio wines for tasting
From Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi to Classico Superiore, passing through Riserva and the sparkling Verdicchio: as well as 60 are the wineries of the Marche Institute for the Protection of Wines that will offer their wines at the tasting tables with professional sommeliers.
The cost of the tasting will be 5 € and the proceeds will go to Caritas Senigallia for flood victims. For more info: www.imtdoc.it.
