Prosecco Run 2014: waiting for the small marathon on the streets and wineries of Prosecco D.O.C.G.

Waiting for the Prosecco Run 2014 in Vidor, the small marathon that on 7th December will visit 17 wineries of Prosecco sparkling wine



It will be back, on Sunday, 7th December, the small marathon approved by FIDAL and international, that will transit into 17 wineries of Prosecco sparkling wine. The Prosecco Run is the final race of 2014 of Atletica Silca Conegliano and Silca Ultralite Vittorio Veneto. The path of the Prosecco Run is on the roads of the Prosecco D.O.C.G. of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene in a beautiful setting among the vineyards. The peculiarity of the Prosecco Run is to make runners pass in the wineries where grapes become Prosecco.



The international half–marathon in the heart of Prosecco

"Preparations are in full swing, now, for this fifth edition of Prosecco Run, a really characteristic race for the transition right into wineries – the presidents of Atletica Silca Conegliano and Silca Ultralite Vittorio Veneto, Francesco Piccin and Aldo Zanetti – a small marathon that we wanted to be international with the aim of bringing in the territory foreigners, as we believe that the sport–tourism combination is the one on which to focus in the coming years. Great is the interest that this event has already met, with registrations already received from all over the north of Italy".



The wineries of Prosecco

The small marathon is 21.097 km. The Prosecco wineries that will be crossed are as well as 17. Departure is from the La Tordera farm. To follow, runners will pass at De Faveri Spumanti. The small marathon runs through the streets of Vidor, Mosnigo of Moriago della Battaglia, Colbertaldo of Vidor, Valdobbiadene and San Giovanni, in the winery of the Rizzetto Brothers, Sentier, the Tormena Brothers winery, the Ce.Vi.V. winery, the Frozza farm, Mass Bianchet, the Zanetton winery, the Campion farm, the Agostinetto Bruno winery, the Torre Zecchei estate, the Val Varse farm, the Val D’Oca farm, the Massimo Zambon winery, the Dal Din Spumanti, to end at the Riccardo farm.

Registrations in Prosecco Run 2014

For the subscribers of the small marathon:

Up to 18th November they will benefit from the preferential fee of 20 €.

From 19th November to 2nd December, the registration fee will change to 25 €.

The first 700 subscribers will be entitled to the goody bag with the beautiful H. Robert T–shirt and a pair of technical socks.

For amateurs

At a cost of 6 € (with gadgets, health care, refreshments, changing rooms and showers), a non–competitive run of 10 km is organized.
