Tastings, great chefs, local housewives, sensory pathways, "basic" and for fans wine courses, opera and jazz at sunset: this is just a taste of the many initiatives inspired by the main theme of EXPO that will develop a typical of Chianti interpretation of the Italian biggest event of 2015.
From April to October there will be a program rich in events in the House of Chianti Classico in Radda in Chianti.

The five thematic areas of EXPO 2015 that reflect the theme "Feeding the planet, energy for life" will be declined in the heart of the territory of Gallo Nero thanks to "Expo of the Gallo Nero in Radda in Chianti", a project presented by the Chianti Classico Wines Consortium and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forestry Policies.
The Chianti Classico Consortium embraces in this way the themes of Expo Milano 2015: History and Nutrition, Art&Food, Children Park, Future Food District, Park of biodiversity will be starring in the newly formed Chianti Classico House at the Convent of Santa Maria al Prato in Radda in Chianti, the new outpost of Gallo Nero dedicated to wine enthusiasts and tourists.
A program of initiatives conceived to tell the public the Chianti Classico and its culture in a friendly and engaging way, through installations, events, meetings with producers and industry experts as well as spaces for the training of the youngest on DOP Oil.
There will be sensory pathways dedicated to the DOCG, varietal exhibitions showing the main cultivars and vine varieties of the territory in three terraces overlooking one of the most beautiful views of Chianti. The DOP Oil will be presented with tasting courses developed in blind tests on DOP and non–DOP. The housewives of the towns of Chianti Classico and the great chefs coming from outside the region will interpret the wine and food traditions of the territory.
