On 14th September the Feast of Barolo and the gastronomic production of the Langhe arrive.
The "Feast of Barolo" is the mother of the events scheduled in Barolo and will be held in September, to celebrate the upcoming harvest
The 2014 edition of the "Feast of Barolo" is scheduled for Sunday, 14th September, but since Friday the 12th, the "D’Incanto" Festival will open its meetings of the end of summer in the Falletti Municipal Castle with "The elusive one. Cycling with Bartali and running with Lulu – Stories from the days of the Resistance" by Assemblea Teatro.
On Saturday, the old town of the village will become the path of a snakes and ladders game where children and adults may participate and in the courtyard of the Falletti Municipal Castle at 6:00 p.m. there will be the Happy Hour in Jazz and the presentation of the concert calendar for the fall season of the Barolo Jazz Club (organization by WineMoreTime Sarotto & Maddalena Sarotto Music).
On Sunday, 14th September, from 11:00 a.m., the streets and squares will be invaded by the counters of exhibitors and the tasting stations of the fair: from noon you can eat a real meal while enjoying Piedmont specialties, all accompanied by wines produced by winemakers of Barolo.
The Itinerary of Taste will be welcomed by street performers and jugglers from the late morning and the Bella Idea association will entertain children with games and skits.
On Sunday, in addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the Enoteca Regionale del Barolo, the Wine Museum (WiMu) and the nearby Corkscrew Museum, which is home to diverse and curious specimens of this useful tool. The wineries of wine producers in the municipal area will be open to visitors.
