The wines from native grapes winners of the "Autochtona Awards" are wines that represented Italy from north to south at "Autoctoni che Passione!", a traditional tasting event during Autochtona, the National Forum of local wines at the Bolzano Fair.
The "Autoctoni che Passione! 2014" appointment proved to be a major event with high–quality proposals ranging from organic to biodynamic farming, up to rare and precious vineyards. The top wine 2014 were chosen out of the 70 labels for tasting.
Presiding over the jury, the American journalist Christy Canterbury, one of the seven Master of Wine women in the United States. Beside the president: Pierluigi Gorgoni ("L’Espresso" and "Spirito di Vino" Guides); Alessandro Franceschini ("Spirito di Vino"); Alessandra Piubello ("Spirito di Vino"); Filippo Gastaldi ("Vinarius"); John Brunton ("The Guardian"); Fabio Pracchia ("Slow Wine"); Ekaterina Shibakina ("Marin Express", one of the leading distributors of wine in Russia).

Best Red Wine Award: "Vigna di Sopra" Azienda Agricola Bianchi Cecilia, Piedmont
Best Sweet Wine Award: Breganze Doc Torcolato 2010 of Cantina Beato Bartolomeo Breganze, Veneto
Best Sparkling Wine Award: Lambrusco di Modena Spumante Doc Brut "Trentasei" of Cantina della Volta, Emilia
Best Rosé Wine Award: "Pinko Nero" Montepulciano 2013 della cantina Angeli di Varano, Marche
Best White Wine Award: Falanghina del Sannio "Maior" 2013 di Fosso degli Angeli
A further recongnition awarded is the Terroir Special Prize, traditionally assigned to the label that represents the most the expression of a grape variety linked to its territory, finally went to the Friuli Venezia Giulia region with Piculit Neri 2013 by Bulfon – I Vini di Emilio Bulfon.
