Vitignoitalia every year awards the Italian wines and wine–growing territories. As many as 48 are the award–winning wines of the 2015 edition.
48 wines were awarded at the Vitignoitalia Wine Competition. The commission, chaired by Francesco Continisio, Chairman of the Scuola Europea Sommelier Italia and consisting of critics, sommeliers, journalists and representatives of Ho.RE.CA., evaluated about 500 wines and spirits produced in national areas from any grape variety.
The result is 48 awarded wines with Silver Medal, Gold Medal, Grand Gold Medal and three Special Awards of Vitignoitalia including the Territory Special Award and the Young Special Award that were recognized, respectively, to the companies that contribute through their work to promote a territory and to the companies that include in their team young people under 30 who are distinguished by commitment, research or innovation.
