As always, at Vinitaly, tastings are important moments for wineries and operators, because they create culture and relations. There are the degustations at the stands and the great degustations in the tasting rooms of Vinitaly. On the www.vinitaly.com site there are all updates.
At Vinitaly 2015 (22nd to 25th March), traders and buyers from around the world nourish strong interest in degustations organized in the tasting rooms of Vinitaly. They are unique events and play an important role in the meeting of professionals and producers.
We will start on the first day of the "Salone", with a tasting in the walk around modality of the wines of the Tre Bicchieri Guide, with the best wines selected by Gambero Rosso. Another tasting walk around will close Vinitaly on 25th March, with "Le Perle d’Italia", a sparkling journey in Italian bubbles by the Italian Sommelier Association, which is celebrating with this event its 50 years.
Certainly, the most exclusive tasting of this year is the executive seminar with the vintage tasting of Cheval Blanc and Petit Cheval offered by the Vinitaly International Academy. Always the VIA has organized other two executive seminars: the first is "How a wine changes in contact with oxygen: Arneis, Barbaresco and Barolo and the Coravin system"; the second "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Artisanal Wines" with foreign and Italian wines, which for the first time will define what they are and will take stock of the effective organoleptic features of artisan wines.
In collaboration with the VIA, moreover, two master classes of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust will take place.
Curious but intended to create a wine culture open to everyone, even to the blind and visually impaired, the tasting "Wine must be listened: a tasting without the aid of sight" (blindfolded) proposed by Onav.
All pink, instead, the tastings byFisar "Great Italian classic method sparkling wines from native grapes" and "Scent of a Woman – Journey in the ancestral sense", proposed by the Women of Wine.
Tasting ex... press presents, as every year, a new world tour through great wines, with the proposals of the most important international magazines. Among the protagonists of 2015, Abrau Durso, famous for being the champagne of the Tsars, Nebbiolo in its various shades, the unique character of Hungarian wines, the champagne with the charm of the blanc de blancs, the Smaragd of Austria, the Australian wines, Riesling Kabinett and also a debate with tastings on caps in
"Allumino against cork, the challenge of the caps!". Finally, between the sacred and the profane, a trip among the greatest Holy Wine "in all senses of the world".
Organized by Ais, the tastings Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino, a journey to the center of the terroir; by Onav the rare wines from Piedmont and the great Apulian red wines, while the Slovenian Foreign Ministry co–finances the tasting of Slovenia Wines.
By Gazza Golosa "#pop Wine", the ranking of the top 50 wines in value for money (under 15 Euros) chosen by the jury of the weekly page of the food and wine culture of La Gazzetta dello Sport.
In the program, in the Vininternational Pavilion (pad. i), the presentation of Pisco of Peru, of the Spanish wines of Andalusia, of Champagne Jeeper, Armagnac, of the great red and white wines of New Zealand, the Argentinian Malbec, the wines of Slovenia, Australia and South Africa and the tasting "Only Pinot Noir and Riesling no limits".
Dedicated to bloggers, the second edition of Young to Young, organized in collaboration with Marco Gatti and Paolo Massobrio. Protagonists of the tasting, the wines of young producers, while young bloggers will post and tweet their impressions. Up for grabs, the title of "blogger of the year".
