Simply Italian - Great Wines U.S. Tour 2012: from the 15th to the 18th October Italian wine is in New York City, Washington DC and Chicaco.

The event aims to promote the internationalization of Italy Wine. The tour is coordinated by the Exhibition Management (IEM).

Simply Italian Great Wines want to promote Italian wine in the world promoting exports and for this purpose will be held three days around the States with tastings and initiatives targeted specifically for professionals, collectors and press.

From the Institute Grandi Marchi to Federdoc, by Veneto Wines Consortia DOC) in I.ter Special Agency Udine Chamber of Commerce: 50 the important wineries participating in the tour organized by IEM, which will continue in Miami and Mexico City.

These tours of Italy wine are also held in other countries and represent a unique occasion to promote the contact of Italian producers with major local players. Additional important aspects are to consolidate the image and brand of the companies already on the territory, all in a context that celebrates and promotes the Made in Italy wine at very high levels.

The tour begins on Monday, the 15 th of October at New York's prestigious Public Library. Second stage in Chicago and Washington DC on Wednesday the17 th"Arial, sans-serif">Three days of tastings, workshops, business meetings and seminars for professionals, collectors and press : everything to promote Italian wine production.

The program is very rich and articulated: there will be a series of seminars organized by IEM with the collaboration of the Grandi Marchi (for the New York stage has given its contribution Marota Gloria Frazee by Wine Spectator). Other seminars are organized by the Consorzio Vino Collio and Carso and the U. Vi.Ve, Federdoc, for the latter one including a speech by its President Riccardo Ricci Curbastro.

The three days will be featured by a walk-around tasting promotion for professionals and wine press.

The tour will end in February 2013 with the stages from 5th to 7th February in Miami and Mexico City.
