Wine and Oil from Puglia will raise their glasses in New York on February 3rd, 2014. During the week of the promotion of Italian wines in New York, companies producing wine and olive oil will promote the “Puglia brand” with “Raise a Glass to Puglia”
At the end of Vinitaly International USA, dedicated to some wineries of Puglia “Raise a Glass to Puglia” will take place, an important opportunity for the North American public to appreciate quality wine and extra virgin olive oil. The meeting dedicated to wine and olive oil gains a special Value even after the report of the NYT that has made the world of olive oil discuss and has put the entire Italian sector in a bad light (see the burning vignettes of “Extra Virgin Suicide”).
One of the secure answers to these unpleasant situations is to be present, to stand up in front of buyers, distributors, journalists and opinion leaders to demonstrate that the Italy of wine and food knows how and wants to offer the excellence.
MTV Puglia raises its glasses in NY

“GD Cucine”: food and wine of tradition
In the exclusive “GD Cucine” kitchen studio, usually, the chef from Puglia Pasquale Martinelli will prepare traditional dishes and talk about raw materials, land and the goodness of the Mediterranean preparations. The dishes of Puglia will be accompanied by the best wines of the companies members of the MTV of Puglia.
During the evening, the expert Daniele Cirsone will at the disposal of everyone to provide information and clarification on the winegrowing and winemaking activities of the region, enhancing the excellent levels of quality of the wine sector of Puglia.
