Only one Italian wine has agreed 8 wine guides: it is Sassicaia 2011 of Tenuta San Guido.

Sassicaia 2011 Tenuta San Guido is the creature of Marquis Mario that emerged crossing the lists of the best tastings, reviewed by the 2015 guides.

The only Italian wine to be awarded the "Tre Bicchieri" of the "Vini d’Italia" Guide of "Gambero Rosso", the "Cinque Bottiglie" of the "Vini d’Italia" Guide of "L’Espresso", the "Tre Stelle" of the "I Vini di Veronelli" guide, the "Cinque Grappoli" of the "Duemilavini" guide of Bibenda, the "Grande Vino" of Slow Food, the highest score in the index of enjoyment for the "Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani" by Luca Maroni and, moreover, the highest recognition by the "faccino" of "Doctor Wine" and by the "Guida Essenziale ai Vini d’Italia" 2015 by Daniele Cernilli, and the "Quattro Viti", the highest award of "Vitae – the Wine Guide 2015" of the Italian Sommelier Association.

"It is great news, we are very pleased – the Marquis Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta, leading Tenuta San Guido, said with his usual simplicity – it is a wine that has always followed its own style, which reflects what has always been our taste. That, at certain times, penalized us, because super–extracted wines seemed to be fashionable. We have always focused on the elegance and drinkability of wine, and now we realize that, perhaps, this is what the public seeks and wants".
