“Grandi Vini d’Italia”, a new book by Federico Graziani and Marco Pozzali, passionately runs the many routes of Italian wine.

What is “Grandi Vini d’Italia”?

“Grandi Vini d’Italia” (“Great Wines of Italy”) is the new book by Federico Graziani and Marco Pozzali. The two authors have made a passionate journey to discover the most beautiful and fascinating corners of our peninsula.

Their new editorial creature in the wine world celebrates the pleasure of a meeting: the one with the great wines of Italy, from South Tyrol to Pantelleria, from Friuli to Sardinia, from Liguria to Puglia, touching the Italian terroir and the most significant regions.

How is “Grandi Vini d’Italia” structured?

100 are the great wines of Italy selected and reviewed by the authors.

The volume is organized as a unique wine list, with a clear and comprehensive thematic subdivision into 10 chapters (ten wines per chapter).

Each sheet tells the story of the producer, the peculiarities of the land on which it is made, the work in the vineyard and in the cellar, the secrets and curiosities that make a wine so attractive and prestigious.

The wines are accompanied by: organoleptic descriptions, the best food and wine pairings, the best vintages to buy, as well as practical information on the services of companies.
The book is a charming and engaging narrative diary of lands, hills, vineyards and grapes that tells stories with truth and passion and the work of man in winemaking.

“Grandi Vini d’Italia” has an original organization that makes of the volume a compelling novel. The voices of the two authors alternate and overlap in the book. Both have a chapter, and a winery profile, that they prefer:

1. The wines of Joy

2. The wines of the Mountains

3. The wines of the Wind

4. The wines of the Sea

5. The wines of the Sun

6. The wines of Fire

7. The wines of the Land

8. The wines of Tradition

9. The wines of Men

10. The wines of Meditation
