The project was born in response to the new obligations of labeling in physical and digital form (e-label) for wines and aromatised wine products introduced by the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which will be adopted from autumn 2021 and provides that the The indication of calories must appear directly on the paper labels, while the list of ingredients and the nutritional declaration can be provided electronically via an e-label. Thanks to the use of the platform, producers will be able to create their own digital labels and immediately provide more complete information than those of a traditional label, promoting greater transparency towards the consumer.
