The Pinot Gris is, as Pinot Blanc, a mutation of Pinot Noir and has been for many years one of the most consumed wines of Italian production. Increasingly spread in Italy, Pinot Gris has French origins , and after widespread in Germany, it arrived in Trentino Alto Adige. Today it is mainly grown in Friuli. It can be either white vinification from which we get a perfumed light yellow colour wine, with a dry flavour or it can be vinified in cpper - coloured, taking a slightly bitter flavour.
