Trattoria l'Oasi

The Oasi tavern, by Cavalet George, is a traditional place that offers home cooking with typical recipes, that give prominence to the products of the place. Typical cheese, snails, frogs. Reservations are recommended. We are closed on Mondays and Sunday evenings.

In our tavern we serve excellent and very fresh appetizers.

The venue was founded by two friends, Andrea and Alberto, who thought to bring a breath of New York or Paris in one of the capitals of the Northeast. As a result, an elegant en quiet space that immediately puts the customer at ease, where a few tables are distributed in a minimalist design, based on the contrast of three colors, the beige of natural resin, the black of stone, and harmonized by the warm tones of the oak wood.



The architects Aldo Parisotto and Massimo Formenton, known primarily as skillful creators of fashion spaces for brands such as Testoni and Ferragamo, have offered with enthusiasm their experience also in the field of catering. I n this way, unusual architectural details are created, like the perspective game at the entrance that connects harmoniously the wide veranda overlooking the avenue and from where you can see a green and relaxing garden of bamboo.



The lights and candles in the evening, along with the music background, always discreet, combine to create a feeling of balance, harmony and warmth. A real treat for the eyes and ears, accompanied, of course, by that of the palate: the kitchen is entrusted to the young chef Federico Cattoni, who comes from numerous experiences, both Italian and international, in particular from the collaboration with Chef Daniel Boulud in New York and Alain Solyveres in Paris, at the time in the "Les Elysees" Restaurant of Hotel Vernet, which boasted two Michelin stars.



Through a gastronomic journey, never boring, you will be guided to the rediscovery of the tradition of Mediterranean cuisine, reinterpreted with imagination and flair. They put attention to detail, starting from those apparently more significant such as, for example, the use of refined salt and spices that enhance a little bit more the flavors of the dishes.

A few years ago, the members owners had this idea. After gaining experience in the restaurant industry in northern Europe, the United States, Australia and various other parts of the world, they thought that the time had come to implement an original concept of steak–house even in Italy. Therefore, in 2006 the first Vig Grill Restaurant was opened in Vigonza and, then, after the rousing success of the format, the group opened a new place in March 2011.
