Ciccio Passami L'olio

Nice and original restaurant with different atmospheres, located in the center of Bergamo. We offer a casual, cheerful and comfortable environment, with air conditioning and outdoor courtyard.

At "Ciccio Passami l’Olio" you can enjoy the typical Mediterranean cuisine with fish and meat specialities, accompanied by a fine selection of wines.

By us you can arrange private parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, business lunches and dinners, or celebrate special occasions (Valentine’s Day, Women’s Day, etc.).

Moreover, we organize parties for children also in the afternoon, with entertainment and the exclusive use of the rooms.




The first room of my venue is in VENETIAN in style, suitable for young and cheerful companies, tables surrounded by bright colors, original Venetian masks and high stools: you never know, water may rise.

The second room is called ETRUSCAN; the colors of the chairs are exactly those of the town that is home to me: Bergamo. From the arches, beautiful and ancient amphorae hang (hopefully not on your head), and, on the walls, there are original tapestries from the Etruscan civilization, hand–painted by artists of the Academy of Venice.


The third is the SARACEN room. The involving atmosphere recalls eastern worlds: dark tables, wooden chairs with high backs, each with an engraved cross. Raising your head, a beautiful starry blue sky, lit by colored lamps from Morocco and others in Murano blown glass.

Finally, my little outdoor COURTYARD that can be used even on rainy days. Right during the opening of "Ciccio" (2001) the centenary of Giuseppe Verdi was celebrated. In his honor, we have created a wall of cypress trees, with phrases of his operas written in gold.

Located in the picturesque setting of Piazza Vecchia, the historic heart of Città Alta (Bergamo),Trattoria Sant’Ambroeus, carefully restored in the early 90s, boasts a refined and of simple elegance, warm and cozy environment.

The antique furnishings complete the harmony of the prestigious context: in a building of the eleventh century you can choose between two rooms directly overlooking the Piazza and a tavern downstairs, with the wine cellar that can be visited on request.

The summer terrace houses lunches and dinners right on the magnificent Piazza Vecchia, jewel and living room of Bergamo.

Ristorante Baretto di San Vigilio

Located on the most prestigious hill of the city, for many years a landmark for the happy hours of Bergamo and of the many Italian and foreign tourists who visit Bergamo. Already in the first months of the year you can dine outside on the terrace with stunning views over the low city, and the atmosphere created reminds of vacation, even if you find yourself in the middle of a city. The kitchen can be defined evolved, thanks to the kitchen staff headed by young and emerging Chef Matteo Esposito who, with the collaborators Paolo Rota and Alessandro Riva, prepares dishes with absolutely fresh and natural materials from the best Italian gastronomic treasures. The patron Beppe Acquaroli and his staff in the dining room will offer a thorough wine list with more than 250 labels, a dessert menu now famous in the Bergamo area, curated by the Head Pastry Chef Romano Persico and a wonderful humidor with the best Cuban cigars, the passion of Beppe. Extremely cozy is the interior decor that makes the "BARETTO" one of the most romantic restaurants in the city. How much does it cost? Antica Osteria Dei Cameli

On the road that leads from Bergamo to Lecco, between Ponte San Pietro and Pontida, Ambivere is situated, a small town of 2,200 inhabitants, including a district. At the beginning of the old town, nestled in a Lombard courtyard of the sixteenth century, Antica Osteria dei Cameli is located.

Founded in 1856 by the ancestors of the current owners, it continues its activity of food service.

A targeted restructuring, signed by the respectful ability of architect of Lucio Agazzi from Bergamo, which was completed in July 2001, has made its old personality emerge.

Once inside, you will find yourself in an entrance of the fifteenth century, furnished with sitting area and fireplace. There, you will have the chance to leave your coats and sit, according to preference, in one of several rooms.

In a warm and comfortable environment you will be greeted personally by the owner Camillo Rota who will accompain you throughout your stay. Once you have chosen, with calm, from the menu that changes with the seasons and the market, you can in all relax enjoy the preparations of Loredana and Fernanda, wife and mother, respectively, of Camillo. And then you have the opportunity to realize the rigorous research of raw materials, the tireless commitment in the kitchen to transform them.

Particular attention is given to the rediscovery of the so–called fifth quarter, including sweetbreads, rognoncino, heart, spleen, nerves, lungs, tripe, etc.., and favoring preserved fish (including codfish, herring, salted anchovies, or lake fish, "missoltini", pike, char, and more).

Remarkable is the commitment in creating dishes based on seasonal fruits and vegetables, in order to safeguard fragrances and colors. Pasta of any types is produced in the house; even bread and breadsticks are prepared in 7/8 different types for dinner.

A separate chapter is made ​​up of desserts to which Giovanni Beretta works with competence and perseverance, offering desserts of high tasting and visual impact, interpreting the seasonality in a decidedly creative and original way.
