Ristorante Al Monastero

In the heart of the city, the Al Monastero Restaurant is divided into warm and comfortable small rooms, each one with a detail that makes it unique. At the entrance there is a bar, in which we offer glasses of wine that mainly come from our company. There is a room with the typical “fogolar furlan” (Friulian fireplace), still in use in the winter months. 
 The is the room with a fresco of Bacchus, wise God of Wine. Charming is the outdoor courtyard renovated in 2000 and used during the warm summer evenings for dinners by candlelight. After crossing the courtyard you come to the rooms furnished in Friuli country style, which are used for ceremonies, special occasions and at Christmas time, as well as for business dinners in the privacy of a separate, cosy room.

Enoteca La Trappola

A characteristic, small wine bar with snacks and regional products, specialty raw ham of San Daniele del Friuli, cheese and cold cuts. Small tables inside and a counter for a total of about 18/20 seats, outside benches for a total of about 50 seats.

Alla Berlina di Danielis Bruno & C. Snc

Established at the time of the Patriarchy of Venice, the “berlina” was a column, placed in the middle of the town square, moved near to the premise in the early twentieth century, to which people guilty of minor offenses were chained and exposed to public ridicule.

Until the beginning of the century, in front of the tavern, there was the tool of punishment which gave the name to this place, “Alla Berlina”.

We are in Santa Maria la Longa, along the road that connects the fortress of Palmanova to Udine. At the traffic light of the town there is the Trattoria that Bruno Danielis has been running since 1975 with his wife Luisa and collaborators.

Inside, the environment has been renovated recently, has a rustic and innovative flavour that can be found in dishes of the typical Friulian cuisine, sometimes revisited.

Surrounded by greenery, among vineyards and a wonderful panorama, Scacciapensieri is the ideal place to relax and forget the stress and noise of the city.

Scacciapensieri is a very refined rustic place, surrounded by groves and gardens, which welcomes its guests in a traditional setting, where you can rediscover the ancient flavours of the cuisine of Friuli. Quality local produce and wine of our production are the key ingredients of the traditional menu that we propose.

Frasca da Gianni

In a warm, cozy, rustic environment in a renovated building, with tools and objects of the Friuli countryside on the walls, “Da Gianni” offers classics of cuisine: barley and beans soup, excellent salami cooked in vinegar with onions, frico of potatoes. All at a good value for money.
