Paolo Dalla Torre, despite its young age, shows a remarkable passion and experience, thanks to a cooking school, but especially for having breathed the air of the restaurant since he was a child. Before working in the family restaurant he has gained experience in prestigious restaurants and participates in the internship that Alain Ducasse does every year.
The menu is rich, but the contamination of different cuisines is the first choice that the restaurant offers.
The wine cellar is the showpiece of the restaurant, was recovered from the basement of a patrician palace of the fifteenth century.

We are in the heart of Pordenone, a short walk from the Town Hall and the Mantica Palace, where exhibitions and conferences take place. Walking through history and buildings, here we come at Vecia Osteria del Moro, at the beginning of a narrow street just behind the Chamber of Commerce, and then exiting the course.
It was awarded with a gold plate by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region on 9th March 2009, as it is a premis with historical and artistic value and furnishings, located inside a building of proven architectural value. Opening a small wooden door it is like entering a convent. In effect, this building that dates back to the fourteenth century was a convent. The ceilings of the rooms are vaulted, the entrance is tiny, with two wooden benches where you can drink tajut and have a chat with patron Ilario, who has been officiating here for 26 years. Sitting at the tables, you can enjoy what the kitchen prepares in a typical local and regional way.
You will find seasonal dishes such as boiled meat, codfish, Cotechino with Brovada and horseradish, Trippe and snails with Polenta. All year round, the everlasting ’Radicchio and beans’ and many other dishes. A selection of wines which include many big names of the national production. The Villa Policreti Hotel is housed inside the park which originally belonged to the noble Policreti family. The main body of the structure is the ancient residence of the Counts Policreti, a Venetian villa now transformed into a four–star hotel after a long and careful restoration completed in 2002. The restaurant of Villa Policreti is located in what oncewas the “barchessa” of the noble villa. It has many rooms for banquets and meetings.
Among the most characteristic venues in the old town, also equipped with a nice garden with outdoor tables where to eat in summertime. The kitchen offers recipes of local tradition accompanied by a rich and well–conceived selection of labels of regional and national wines. Wide selection of hams of controlled origin and guaranteed. The venue has 35 seats.

Il Pilacorte is located in the warm embrace of the Le Mura building in the historic and lively heart of Pordenone. From one side, it faces the river Noncello in a green area completely redeveloped and returned to the town, quiet, that perfectly balances the frenzy of Corso Emanuele or of Piazza della Motta; and from the other side it opens to the city center, through a series of lanes of ancient taste, where you can admire in all its majesty the San Marco bell tower until you get to the Cathedral of Pordenone.
