In the memory of our childhood the tastes and the traditional dishes that in every family were prepared with different nuances are imprinted. This memories remain indelible throughout life. Since 1983, when the Mariposa tavern was founded in Borgo Garimberti 27 in Parma, and today with Casale Mariposa, we prepare the dishes of our land, trying to do our best to represent it. Despite being an island, in the culinary field, the prevailing culture is that of the land.
In the alley by the disquieting name, "Cinque Piaghe" (five sores), there is a small tavern by the curious name. The concept of tavern is renowed, reducing that gruff and shy figure of the owner, transforming him into a friendly person, smiling and with his usual long apron: the modern innkeeper.
The impression given to the venue is based on traditional cuisine, local products laden and mixed in a personal and creative way: Cappelletti, Risotto with Radicchio and sausage, Tortelli with cooked shoulder, pumpkin and Taleggio cheese Gnocchi, Filetto Alla Vecchia Parma with grapes must and the guaranteed cooked shoulder of own production with the ancient method of San Secondo.
Sara takes care of the service and the wine list that, marked by known labels, combines small fine wineries sought to rediscover the true flavors.
In the kitchen there is Filippo, who with precision prepares his dishes venting his inspiration that characterizes him since he graduated as a chef.
Aided by a young and competent staff, the venue is "a must see destination" for those who want to pull over a good glass of wine with a simple and genuine dish, enjoyed in the twilight of a nice hidden hamlet.

Our cuisine is based on the exclusive use of certified organic raw materials, cooked fresh every day. It was, then, invented, the word "Bioenergetic": each dish can provide energy and nutrients useful for dealing with the day vitality. To meet the needs of customers, in addition to the restaurant service, at lunch we offer the delivery of food in the town for privates/shops/firms etc ... For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us! At lunch the menu varies daily, giving the customer the opportunity to choose out of three first courses, three second courses and four side dishes. This is to taste in a unique dish, in the right quantity and in the right balance, carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins.
At 2 km from the motorway exit, near the road connecting Parma to Colorno, you can spend a leisurely lunch at Trattoria Dal Bagol.

In Parma, in the local countryside, surrounded by greenery, Trattoria Le Viole is situated. Since 1989, it is managed with competence and passion by Roberto Oppici, chef, and his wife Rosanna who, along with her sister Lucia, welcome guests with courtesy and attention.
Who comes is sure to rely on a typical cuisine wisely and carefully revisited, offering in this way delicious specialties and accurate in preparation. The menu is strongly linked to the seasonality of products, offering always dishes with fresh ingredients and quality.
The structure consists of a dining room and an enclosed porch for a total of 45 seats, ideal for hosting a romantic dinner, but also pleasant business conferences and receptions for weddings or special events, and in summer you can take advantage of a pleasant after dinner outdoors, under the natural pergola. In addition, you can count on a large parking lot.
Everything here is prepared at home, from bread sticks to desserts. And then, we point out hams and Culatello (salted pork), available at the time, selected and aged for 3 years.

“Masticabrodo” is located in the countryside, a few kilometers from the town, in the shade of the Castle of Torrechiara. Ida and Francesco will make feel at ease any customer who chooses this tavern for the attention to details, for the passion, almost obsessive, for raw materials. It is possible to reserve the room at the upper floor (10/15 people) for business lunches or a dinner in company. When the weather is nice, you can also dine outdoors in a lovely garden.
