The story of Osteria dello Stajo began in 1976, when Oriano and Franca, owners of a hash house, decided to create a place where they could enjoy the peasant Bolognese cuisine. After 25 years of other activities, always related to taste and good food, Franca and Fabrizio have created Osteria dello Stajo, to make revive to the people Bologna and not the culinary tradition of a place that has always been enjoyed by young and old ones.

For those who do not know it, the "stajo", which gives its name to the tavern, was a metal container that was used by farmers as a unit of measure for grain, cereals and arid substances.

We hope that, after all these years, our dishes prepared exclusively as in the past by Franca, manage to satisfy the tastes of all those who still appreciate the culinary traditions of the past.

Trattoria Della Santa

Trattoria Della Santa is located in the old town of Bologna, not far from Piazza Maggiore: here you can taste many delicious and tempting specialities, the proof of the pudding!

The first courses are always cooked with homemade pasta, to guarantee a simple and genuine flavor.

The second courses are mainly based on meat (of very high quality), accompanied by abundant seasonal vegetables.

Trattoria E Parlamintè

E Parlamitè restaurant–tavern was founded in 1985, in the environments of an old inn dating back to the nineteenth century, formerly frequented by anarchists and socialists, particularly by Andrea Costa from Imola, founder of the Italian Socialist Party and the first socialist deputy at the royal parliament.

The Dal Monte family transforms the tavern into a restaurant thanks to his son Massimo, who is attending the hotel school and is training at the San Domenico restaurant in Imola.

The restaurant was renovated in 1997, bringing to light the old wooden beams and furnishing it with furniture from the beginning of the twentieth century of an old grocery in Imola. Currently, it is popular with families, professionals, young people and local politicians, then, the discussions about politics that have given the name to the venue continue.

Trattoria La Stella Di Lippo

"La Stella di Lippo" tavern is a small and cozy venue with a warm atmosphere, situated near the Guglielmo Marconi airport of Bologna.

The cuisine ranges from Bologna traditional dishes to the cuisine of the Lucania area, the home of chef Mimma who, with her ​​husband Jerry, three years ago have opened this place.

The attention to detail is felt from the moment you enter the venue, a rustic but elegant environment, where kindness and good food will make that both at lunch and dinner you can enjoy the best of one of the most important moments of the day: to stay at the table.

Getting to "La Stella di Lippo" is easy: Exit 4 bis (Aeroporto–Calderara di Reno) of Bologna’s ring road, indication Calderara, first roundabout indication Lippo Centro, third road to the right, and you are there.

You will have the chance to taste the good old flavours of genuine food in a country yet elegant restaurant. The menu is characterized by the typical Bolognese cuisine and home-made pasta, and proposes seasonal dishes using the best products of nature for each time of the year.
For wine lovers, our winery offers more than 50 labels.
On Wednesdays, Katia will sweeten you dinner with some background music.
During the summer, you may choose to dine in the open air under our veranda.

Ristorante Osteria Alle Due Porte

Characteristic family–run inn, located in the historic center of Bologna, with a cozy room with nice weather, the outdoor patio located in the historic porch of via del Pratello.

The menu, varied, includes the best dishes of the traditional cuisine of Bologna and Puglia: from delicious cold cuts, cheese with Crescentine, to Apulian pickles accompanied by Nodini, Burrata, Stracciatella and Caprino cheese, from the original land of the owners.

Pasta dishes: fresh pasta prepared by hand, from Tortellini to Orecchiette pasta, purea of beans with chicory.

Varied selection of second courses: grilled meat, pork shank, cut of Angus beef, Puglia chops and fillets.

Antica Trattoria del Cacciatore

Antica Trattoria del Cacciatore has been home for the past 2 centuries of traditional cuisine and of the authentic spirit of conviviality; since 1800 it is a place of rest for excellence: at that time especially for hunters who crossed the ford of Rhine to reach the valleys beyond. The venue, now managed by the third generation of the Ferrari family, has a rustic and comfortable environment with a large living room with sliding patio overlooking a green garden of 1000 meters.



Particular attention is paid to the preparation of menus ranging from the traditional Bologna menu with fresh pasta made ​​by hand, to tasty dishes of venison and mushrooms, as well as excellent proposals of fresh fish; all accompanied by the excellent homemade bread. Rich is also the offer of desserts, all prepared in house and presented in very special "artistic" compositions. The wine list fully meets the most demanding palates: over 300 labels of local and national wines, with particular attention to the wines of Azienda Agricola Cà Selvatica, owned by Domenico Ferrari. You can also customize the menu on request, by appointment, as we organize lunches and dinners for weddings, banquets and meetings, including in private rooms.

In the eighteenth century barn that housed the horses to tow barges along the canals, La Scuderia offers Emilian cuisine and the delights of sfoglina.

In the kitchen chef Daniela reigns, specialized in Tagliatelle, Cappelletti del Prete, pink Gnocchetti, Tortelloni and Tortellini in broth, all prepared in a workmanlike manner according to tradition.

Excellent is also boiled meat, horse steaks with salted Ricotta cheese, deer loin and the Bolognese cutlet.
The friendly owners, the greek Giorgio, called "Very Nice" and his wife Loretta, manage the restaurant with the help of their son Cristos, of Enzo and of three magnificent chefs: Paolo, Francesco and Matteo.
