The cuisine, the reign of Antonella and Cristina, helped by mother Rosalba, follows the typical craftsmanship of Piacenza. Bread, pasta and desserts are entirely handmade, as well as their tasty focaccia. Each dish is prepared with the use of front rank ingredients, that follow the different seasonality.

The restaurant is partly an old outpost of the Castle of Statto in the fifteenth century, in a dominant position on river Trebbia. The dining room is a bright nice porch with large windows overlooking the flower garden and the beautiful view. Next, in a small and cozy room, you can enjoy a good cigar chosen out of a careful selection, to combine with a good spirit.
In the kitchen, mum Elide, in harmony with Angela Repetti, move on the tradition–innovation double track, never neglecting the weight of the preparations. In the kitchen they prepare all pasta, both stuffed and dry, marinating meat and fish, desserts as well as bread and pickles that accompany the big cheese cart. Great passion in the selection of Italian cheese, that are almost always, if possible, within the limits of seasonal productivity. A cart with sensational assortment of goat cheese types of the region, many of which are the excellent Piedmontese Alpine cheese of the south, such as Caciocavallo Podico cheese aged in caves for over 3 years, as well as good Pecorino cheese from different regions and with different methods of aging, a very good choice of blue cheese made with different types of milk.
At one kilometer from Ponte dell’Olio, in Riva locality, adjacent to the beautiful castle of the thirteenth century, there is an excellent piece of history. Riva restaurant of Carla and Maurizio has a long history of passion and dedication to what is true and authentic, which leads us back to the beginning of a traditional and family journey undertaken in 1987.
Carla, in her career, had the honor to accompany chef George Cogny, to confirm her deep and rooted experience, and Maurizio studied Agriculture deepening his knowledge and his experience in the wine sector.
No better personal and professional combination could give life to one of the most renowned and well–known restaurants in the province of Piacenza. From an old bar–tobacconist this refined and rustic restaurant was obtained, and now consists of two rooms and a welcoming summer dehor.

Watching the silhouette of Rivalta Castle while crossing the bridge on the Trebbia, framed within the brush strokes of a summer sunset or mantled by the milky mists of a flatland giving way to the hills, offers a unique view: it is sheer food for the eyes, and evokes the magic atmosphere of a fairy-tale.
Crossing the Arch of access to the village, it is possible to feel the comfortable embrace of the walls and the measured balance of the architectonical development of a millenary jewel maintained and restored with extreme grace and gusto.
The use of stone, wood, the ivy-covered walls, the many doorways to the many small houses , the cobbled surface of by-streets, the austerity of the gate facing the castle, the view to the park, the impressing and reassuring tower with the waving house-flag, provide the place with a magic atmosphere, in which the visitor loses the concept of time and space.
In this enchanted surrounding waves the metal-sign of "Antica Osteria del Falco", representing a huge and curve-shaped Soup-tureen calling to the mind images of a reinvigorating hot soup, of a sumptuously laid table, of the mother.

In the wonderful environment of Relais Cascina Scottina there is a recognized point of reference for food service of excellence: Antica Osteria della Pesa, where every detail is designed to give guests unique sensations. The Cesena brothers, Claudio (chef) and Marco (responsible for room and basement), owners of the restaurant, come from successes and consents obtained in over ten years of management in the previous seat of Antica Osteria della Pesa, in Travazzano di Carpaneto.
There are two main menus proposed by Antica Osteria della Pesa: the Menu of Tradition, based on meat, and the Tasting Menu, of fish. To pay tribute to the celebrated tradition of Piacenza, Claudio Cesena has created a list of dishes expressed in the wine list, drawing on locally sourced ingredients.
A particular attention is given to people who suffer from food allergies, such as celiac disease, for which the dishes of our menu are made with ingredients that do not contain gluten.
On the table, thanks to the genius of Claudio Cesena and the staff of Antica Osteria della Pesa, dishes are transformed into true works of art. The local tradition is combined with the Italian one, the results are always amazing. The kitchen reveals a perfect balance among taste and delicacy, simplicity and attention to detail. In the glass, wine is always carefully selected by Marco Cesena. Every season has its own menu and its theme nights. In perfect harmony with the rhythms of nature.
At lunch, Mondays to Fridays, at guests’ disposal, a Lunch menu consisting of two courses plus a selection of cheese or dessert at 30 €.

Isa Mazzocchi is a cook who lives her kitchen. A chef of Piacenza and proud of it, who knows how to give liveliness and flavor to dishes. A woman who believes strongly in the family dimension of the restaurant and in the human relationship with the customer. For Isa, creativity means to give life to dishes, and for this reason she can give grace and concreteness to her kitchen, typical of a woman. From the province to international cuisine: the story of Isa could be summed up in this way. But, in the end, a story all to make: that of a successful woman chef who has not forgotten her roots.

Who stops in Bilegno to taste the dishes for which Isa is famous, is struck by the warm and serene village that surrounds La Palta. Maybe thanks to a close–knit and cheerful group that makes the customer feel like a guest. Because the team of La Palta is a family. In addition to Isa and Roberto Gazzola, the pillars of the restaurant are, in effect, Monica Mazzocchi, Isa’s sister, and her husband Marco Sogni. Always ready to help guests in their choices, to give a smile and a joke. Because La Palta is the professionalism of a family.
The Palta is a restaurant of quality set like a jewel in a crown of rolling hills and green plains in the valley of Tidone. The story of La Palta tells of a traditional inn, run by the parents of Isa. Here, Isa grew up and approached with curiosity since she was a child to the kitchen of her lands. And right in Bilegno, in the same village where the old tavern stood, Isa has opened her restaurant. Of its popular ancestor, La Palta has retained a taste for hospitality and warmth, but also the awareness that the group can achieve lasting results. For this reason, La Palta is a family, grew up around Isa, and the expression of her artistic vibrancy.
Opened about twenty years ago as a simple wine shop, thanks to the passion of Mr. Piero Bonacina, Ristorante Enoteca San Nicola is situated in a former convent of the seventeenth century in the heart of the old town of Bobbio.
The kitchen of Marisa Bonacina, daughter of the owners Miriam and Piero, has given a very interesting personal turning point: she often searches for unusual combinations even in the most famous and traditional recipes of the restaurant.
Her husband Davide Gatti, since a few years, follows the winery and the dining room service, along with her mother–in–law. The wine list offers the opportunity to choose between about 900 Italian and foreign labels with many bottles of excellent vintages.
The former main chapel is now home to the real wine shop that offers, only at the weekend, wines in glasses, different types of tea, chocolates and, in summer, cool drinks.
Moreover, since a few years, Enoteca San Nicola can accommodate its customers in some elegantly furnished rooms, all with bath and fireplace.
The old part of the room, dating back to the eighteenth century, was used as a stall where it was also possible to eat. The activity as tavern began in year 1919. They produced wines, meats, and was the only landmark of the country (which now has 300 inhabitants) where you could find a bit of everything: food, grocery, butcher shop, tobacconist etc..
Our family began the management in year 1964. Proposals in the kitchen are mainly bound to the dishes of our land.
We recommend wines, meats and all the best products of our territory, which we still carefully select. Much of the raw materials we use in cooking come directly from our garden. Our wine cellar has about 600 Italian and foreign labels. We have a pergola where the service in the summer is made, two small dining rooms heated with fireplaces and a meeting room for about 50 people.
The restaurant is located in the town center.
At Trattoria Navicello, run by Mrs. Patrizia, you can taste specialities such as homemade pasta, homemade desserts, tortellini, gnocchi, tigelle.
The ingredients used for the preparation are of high quality and rigorously selected by the owner.
