"La Cucoma" Restaurant is located in the hamlet of San Pancrazio in the municipality of Russi and was created by Dino and Novella Amadori who, in the far 1978, decided to return to their beloved Romagna after years spent in the Varese area for work.
"La Cucoma" is one of those restaurants that have a real story behind them.
The name has its roots in the era of people’s circles that inspired each hamlet: in effect, not possessing an espresso machine to make coffee, this was served with the traditional Cucoma (not to be confused with the modern mocha coffee pot) maintaining, however, the habit of the bar at that time.
The place was renovated a couple of times since that far 1978, becoming in the last decades synonimous with eating well in the Romagna interland and the Amadori family, meanwhile, enlarged thanks to the collaboration of children: Emiliano (in the room) and Marco (in the kitchen).
So, to emulate their parents, the next generation has the important task of keeping intact the typicality of the room, giving relief to the traditions of seafood, in a purely family environment.
