Founded even before the construction of the motorway, Hostaria La Carbonara was the break for truckers who consumed the "Suppa del carrettee".
Appendix to the huge Cascina Offellera, demolished to make way for the highway, was the storage of ground flour and then a bakery.
Surrounded by fruit trees and a centuries–old wisteria, it was the destination of the first Milanese outings, known for its authentic and regional dishes: so, now, in its interior a heart of ancient tastes and traditions of the past still beats.
The menu is traditional and ingredients are bought daily.
