In the far 1895, the genious of Mr. Guidotti transformed the stables of Villa Bottini into a Drugstore.
Since then, many people and illustrious characters of Lucca, such as masters Puccini and Luporini, have found refreshment there.
Today, after more than a hundred years of life, the place retains much of its original furniture and conveys the spirit of the time, the scents
and the taste of tradition.
Since three years, it also has a pizzeria with a wood–burning oven and a kitchen where dishes typical of this land, as well as tastings of local meats and special cheese, are prepared.
