The story of Osteria dello Stajo began in 1976, when Oriano and Franca, owners of a hash house, decided to create a place where they could enjoy the peasant Bolognese cuisine. After 25 years of other activities, always related to taste and good food, Franca and Fabrizio have created Osteria dello Stajo, to make revive to the people Bologna and not the culinary tradition of a place that has always been enjoyed by young and old ones.
For those who do not know it, the "stajo", which gives its name to the tavern, was a metal container that was used by farmers as a unit of measure for grain, cereals and arid substances.
We hope that, after all these years, our dishes prepared exclusively as in the past by Franca, manage to satisfy the tastes of all those who still appreciate the culinary traditions of the past.
