Epokale by Cantina Tramin: the right time for excellence. Cantina Tramin has decided to postpone the presentation of its Epokale 2017 to 2025, to allow for an additional year of refinement in the Ridanna Monteneve mine. This prolonged stay in conditions of constant temperature and humidity allows the Gewürztraminer Spätlese to evolve towards a more concentrated and intense style, in line with its origins.
Ánzolo: a tribute to Venice in Bellenda's new Prosecco Superiore. From the banks of San Michele di Feletto, Ànzolo is born, a Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut that celebrates the historic bond between Venice and the wines of Treviso. The name is a tribute to "Campo Sant'Ánzolo" and the Venetian roots of this elegant wine.
High-end Italian reds conquer the US market. High-end Italian red wines (over $50) saw a 3% increase in sales between January and August 2024, counteracting the overall decline in luxury products (-7%). Tuscany, in particular, dominated, with a 13% increase.
Caviro moves into the luxury segment. Caviro creates a premium hub, separating Cantine Caviro from Tenute Caviro, which includes Leonardo Da Vinci spa and Cesari spa. Giovanni Lai will lead Tenute Caviro, with the aim of enhancing Italian premium labels.
Wine acquisitions resume from North to South. The Italian wine sector continues to record significant acquisitions, especially in high-end denominations and sparkling wines, favored by recent reductions in interest rates.

San Leonardo: 300 years of winemaking history. The San Leonardo estate, led by the Guerrieri Gonzaga family, celebrates three centuries of winemaking tradition, with a company that represents the soul of the territory and the people who live there.
Top 10 Bibenda 2025: Allegrini, Bellavista and other protagonists. The Bibenda 2025 guide has selected ten wines that represent Italian excellence, including the Sopraquota 900 2022 (Val d'Aosta) and the Franciacorta Brut Teatro Alla Scala 2020 by Bellavista.
Caviro awarded for sustainability with the Monteleone21 project. Masi, a historic Valpolicella company, has received recognition for its sustainable practices in wine tourism, thanks to the Monteleone21 project, which promotes responsible tourism.
Barolo en primeur: charity auction in Langa. The "Barolo en primeur" auction returns with its fourth edition, raising funds for social projects thanks to the barriques of Barolo Vigna Gustava, involving the best wineries of Barolo and Barbaresco.

"Tra Borghi e Cantine" stops in Montalcino. The fourth appointment of the food and wine tour "Tra Borghi e Cantine" will be held in Montalcino, with an evening dedicated to the wines of the Talenti Company and the traditional cuisine of the Trattoria Il Pozzo.
