Historic Families Skip the Centenary of the Amarone Consortium

The centenary of the Consorzio dei Vini della Valpolicella, with the presentation of the 2020 Amarone, could have sealed peace with the Famiglie Storiche. However, the association chose not to participate in the tasting tables at Palazzo della Gran Guardia. The only exception was Marilisa Allegrini, who was present at the event. The handshake between the president of the Consortium, Christian Marchesini, and the president of the Famiglie Storiche, Pierangelo Tommasi, in May 2023, seems to remain only a symbolic image without any concrete follow-up.
