RNA 15 YEARS: THE DEDICATION OF VILLA FRANCIACORTA TO ITS FOUNDER

How important are people ? What is the value of time ? These are the suggestions that gave rise to the idea of Roberta Bianchi , at the helm of Villa Franciacorta , to create RNA - Riserva Nobile Alessandro Bianchi , Franciacorta Riserva Extra Brut Millesimato 2007 designed to honor her father Alessandro Bianchi, founder of Villa Franciacorta, and to remember his contribution to the Denomination .

Among the architects of the foundation of the Consorzio di Tutela , the first to produce a Millesimato in 1978, and architect at only 26 years of age of the recovery of a sixteenth-century village thanks to a social project, Alessandro Bianchi was a far-sighted man. Strong and determined as Roberta, his daughter, is today, supported by her husband Paolo and sons Alessio and Matteo.

RNA 15 Anni is a project that condenses passion, experience and patience, the maximum expression of a soil of marine origin and a unique terroir such as that of Villa Franciacorta.

Produced with grapes of our own production selected in the 2007 harvest , from a vineyard with a density of 4650 plants/ha, RNA 15 Anni is composed of 85% Chardonnay grapes from old vines , the symbol of the company, and 15% Pinot Noir from the hillside crus .

After resting for 15 years on the lees in the underground cellars of Villa Franciacorta, and having been manually moved one by one on the pupitres , the bottles of RNA 15 Anni now give great “ Emotions ”.

The bottle, in limited edition, is distinguished by its packaging , designed by Matteo Pizziol , son of Roberta and Paolo: a precious box dedicated to grandfather Alessandro, portrayed in a position of listening and dialogue with the wine. The label in Rose Gold plated Copper is a reference to the jewels of grandmothers in the 60s, the years in which Villa Franciacorta was born, but also to RNA, a molecule that preserves the strong identity and that passes on the essence of life, a symbol of continuity.
