The awards ceremony for the winners of the " Best Wine Hospitality Manager " competition took place on Wednesday 5 February at the Hospitality fair in Riva del Garda (TN).

The competition, unique in its kind, is entirely dedicated to wine tourism hospitality professionals , recognizing their crucial role in raising the standards of quality and innovation of Italian wine tourism. Wine Tourism Hub is committed to enhancing these indispensable figures because recognizing excellence in wine tourism is essential to promote innovation and quality, increase the visibility of Italian wine tourism both nationally and internationally and give prominence and support to professionals in the sector, underlining the importance of their contribution.
The "Best Wine Hospitality Manager" competition was an exceptional success, receiving hundreds of applications from wine tourism operators across the country: numerous professionals applied and just as many actively participated by voting for their colleagues.

These characteristics transform a simple hospitality manager into a storytelling artist, capable of exciting and retaining every guest who crosses the threshold of the winery.
Reward the Wine Hospitality Manager who stands out for his or her sales skills in the wine shop.
A Wine Hospitality Manager who excels at direct sales at the end of the experience in the company has a combination of commercial, empathic and strategic skills. He is an excellent “persuasive communicator” who knows how to establish an authentic and trusting relationship with guests, understanding their preferences and needs during the experience. He presents the wines in an engaging but understandable language, without sounding too technical or forcedly commercial. He has a sales-oriented narrative: he integrates details into the visit that enhance the wines and prepare guests for a natural purchase.
