Weekend in Trentino? All Gemme di gusto initiatives

Also scheduled for the weekend from 10th to 12th May is a vast choice of food and wine events organized by the members of the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino on the occasion of the Gemme di gusto event.

starting point can be the Grand Hotel Terme di Comano, with its Spring Wellness Weekend holiday proposal which combines hospitality with the opportunities offered by the spa centre, and the B&B Appartamenti “Alla Loggia dell'Imperatore” in Levico Terme, with its Weekend Breakfast Foraging which offers “home made” breakfasts and the possibility of organizing a tasty brunch in the company of the Lupa di Vetriolo , an evocative landart work by the famous artist Marco Martalar.

From these two points you can explore the entire territory. In particular, on Friday 10 May , from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm , we will meet among the rows of Maso Franch in Giovo for In the vineyard with a view : walking in nature you will reach the new panoramic point "del Zambel", which overlooks the San dam Giorgio, for a toast based on mountain bubbles, followed by a picnic on the terrace with wine tasting paired with Zambana Asparagus from As.TA – Asparagicoltori Trentini Associati and cured meats and cheeses from Arturo Paoli Specialità Alimentari. Not far away, at 3.00 pm , Spring returns to the farm at Maso Poli in Pressano di Lavis : a walk in the vineyard to discover Trentino viticulture and the different forms of farming and final tasting paired with the delights of Panificio Sosi and Salumeria Belli.

Moving to Vallagarina , from 9.00 to 18.00 Vivallis di Nogaredo gives an appointment for the Art of making wine , where the guided tour of the production path in the cellar is combined with a tasting in collaboration with some gastronomic producers such as Panificio Moderno and Caseificio sociale di Sabbionara , while at 7.00 pm , the Cantina d'Isera offers Discovering the 907 line , an aperitif paired with the products of Panificio Moderno and Biodebiasi, with live musical accompaniment by Villanova Duet .

Only for Saturday 11 May, from 9.00 to 18.00 , at Biodebiasi in Patone di Isera , Strawberry Taste Spring takes place, a day to discover these delicious fruits, with walks among the rows, guided tours and a tasty peasant breakfast, visit to Castel Corno , as well as musical moments, show cooking and tastings with sparkling wines from Cantina d'Isera and specialties from Panificio Moderno. In Folaso di Isera , however, from 3.00 pm , a new appointment with Ritorno alle origine , at the Vignali Varas agricultural company : an opportunity to discover the history of the Frapporti family by crossing the vineyards and visiting the cellar, with a preview tasting of the wine from beating. And at the end, a toast paired with Biodebiasi and Caseificio Sociale di Sabbionara products.

On the same day, the METS - Trentino Ethnographic Museum of San Michele , organizes an afternoon of "edutainment" with A leap... among the games of the past : starting from 2.00 pm , children will be able to get to know the games of the past up close and experience the emotions of their grandparents. In the afternoon, a healthy break with La Trentina apples, also interpreted in tasty recipes, and experiences with soil and seeds from Roncador Floriculture, as well as a journey with pedal tractors and sensory games. For "green thumbs" and plant lovers, at 4.00 pm, Rosa Rosae Rosae also takes place at the Roncador Floriculture in Mezzolombardo , an afternoon dedicated to these wonderful flowers to learn how to take care of them with advice on pruning, fertilization, watering, protection and elimination of parasites, but also special tastings of rose-based food products, such as syrup or rosolio, jam and strudel with apples and bud petals, in collaboration with Azienda Agricola Cà dei Baghi, Distilleria Bertagnolli and Panificio Zambanini.

Space for culture at the Green Grill – Info and Flavors of Grumes di Altavalle with Readings on the terrace : starting from 3.00 pm there will be an afternoon dedicated to stories inspired by nature. In conclusion, a snack based on products made in Val di Cembra , such as tarts from Macelleria Pasticceria Zanotelli, juices and herbal teas from the Bio Giove Officinali farm.
