The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima

As true insiders, we will never tire of reiterating it: the Venetian Villas are not only museums but also precious treasure chests of a thousand secrets, among these their strong link with the wine production of the area. For this reason, the Venice Wine Consortium together with the Venetian Villas Association created the event "The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the territories of the Serenissima" . After the great success of the first two events in the prestigious Villa Tiepolo Passi in Carbonera (TV) and Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari in Mira (VE), we are now preparing for the culmination of this extraordinary event, which will take place on Sunday 19 November at Villa Reichsteiner in Piavon of Oderzo (TV). The event in its entirety was created to make wine and its connection with the villas known to journalists, sector operators, consumers but also to enthusiasts, thus becoming a privileged meeting moment to delve deeper into various topics. The event elegantly combines the eternal beauty of the Venetian Villas with guided tastings of wines from the DOC Piave, DOC Lison Pramaggiore, DOC Venezia, DOCG Malanotte and DOCG Lison denominations, as well as wines from native vines such as Lison, Raboso, Refosco pdr and the Manzoni Crossroads. The tastings, conducted in collaboration with Ais Veneto, will allow you to experience the art of the past in terms of conviviality and contemporary culture. During the event, it will be possible to participate in guided tours of the Villa lasting one hour, followed by guided tastings. "The first two events dedicated to the event 'The Villa, the Wine and Venice: a journey to discover the Serenissima' closed with the participation of a large number of participants - underlines Stefano Quaggio, Director of the Venice Wine Consortium - We have seen a young audience of enthusiasts very interested in this new format which links the cultural and artistic heritage of the Villas and its tradition with the production and history of wine. Useful information and program

To participate in the event you will need to register via the Eventbrite platform. We would like to remind you that when booking the event, a payment of €15 will be required, including the fee for the guided tour of the Villa, followed by a free guided tasting of the denominations of the Consorzio Vini Venezia. The fee will be donated to the single Venetian Villa.
