Sustainable buildings, enhancement of the territory, optimization of services for authentic experiences and integration of environmental, social and economic sustainability in the management of accommodation facilities. These are some of the topics covered in the two events of the Riva stage of REbuild Tour, a moment of dialogue between all the players in the supply chain, both national and international.

The Salone dell'Accoglienza has renewed its collaboration with REbuild this year too, the first Italian event for sustainable innovation in the built environment, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi . As part of the events of the event currently taking place at the Riva del Garda Exhibition Center, REbuild has proposed two events dedicated to the importance of sustainable design in the hospitality sector. An opportunity for tourism operators, architects, designers and entrepreneurs in the HoReCa sector, who wish to innovate their business with a view to sustainability, inclusiveness and innovation.

The topics covered during the two meetings held today ranged from the design of sustainable and comfortable buildings, to the optimization of services to ensure authentic experiences for guests, to the valorization of traditions and the territory. Furthermore, practical approaches were explored to integrate environmental, social and economic sustainability in the management of accommodation facilities, with the aim of promoting a new vision of hospitality, more attentive to modern challenges and the expectations of today's travelers.

“These events represent an important opportunity for all the players in the sector, ready to gather innovative ideas and promote a new approach to hospitality, where sustainability and the quality of the experience are at the heart of every project,” said Giovanna Voltolini , Exhibition Manager of Hospitality - Il Salone dell'Accoglienza. “Hospitality is one of the stages of the REbuild Tour, a strategic path that unfolds through a series of events leading up to the event on May 6 and 7. The aim is to encourage the exchange of experiences and knowledge in strategic territories and gather innovative ideas. Each stage represents a moment of dialogue between all the players in the supply chain, from construction to finance, and involves producers, research centers and professionals both national and international.”

The first event, “ Value of the project and the community for sustainable tourism ”, involved Giancarlo Cescatti , Director of APT Fiemme and Cembra, Cecilia Gozzi , Partner and Project Leader Metrogramma Milano, Edoardo Poi , Brand Development Manager The One Atelier, and Stefan Rier , Founder Studio NOA, who highlighted how innovation in sustainable design can contribute to the creation of tourism that respects and integrates the values of the territory. The speakers discussed the crucial role of architectural design, the strategic and economic plan and the connection with the local community to create authentic and well-being experiences. The next event, “Connections and design: innovating hospitality in a sustainable way”, saw the participation of Francesco Gasperi , General Manager Habitech, Alberto Apostoli , Founder and CEO Studio Apostoli, and Andrea Monticolo , Managing Director Monticolo&Foti Costruzioni Generali e Impianti Tecnologici. The speakers explained how to integrate sustainability into accommodation facilities, starting from design to operational management, also addressing the growing awareness of customers regarding the sustainability and environmental impact of the facilities they choose. The focus was on the shared value that arises from the connection between design and the territory, with concrete solutions to promote truly sustainable tourism.

The events, moderated by Maria Chiara Voci, a journalist for Il Sole 24 Ore, stimulated a lively debate among the speakers, generating food for thought on how the hospitality sector can face the challenges of the future with a more sustainable and inclusive mindset.
