Vinetia Tasting – Veneto in the Glass: the great wines of the region are told in the heart of Treviso

An entire day dedicated to discovering the best wines of the Veneto in the heart of Treviso: Sunday 17 March Vinetia Tasting - Veneto in the Glass returns to the Chamber of Commerce of Treviso and Belluno . Now in its third edition, the annual event organized by AIS Veneto invites enthusiasts to taste the region's excellence, carefully selected by the expert tasters of the Vinetia 2024 guide. Vinetia Tasting , open from 10.30am to 7pm , offers tasting tables to discover the stories and traditions hidden in each glass and includes three masterclasses conducted by industry experts to delve deeper into different territories and excellences. Custoza: styles and evolutions is the first meeting of the day: scheduled for 1.00 pm, it is led by Costantino Gabardi, wine expert and international taster, and by Gianpaolo Breda, President of AIS Veneto, in collaboration with the Custoza Wine Protection Consortium Doc. Followed at 3.00 pm by the masterclass organized together with the Consorzio di Tutela Vini Valpolicella Il Recioto della Valpolicella , presented by Alberto Brunelli, oenologist, technical manager of the Consortium, and by Gianpaolo Breda. Finally, at 5.00 pm, appointment with I Bordeaux Veneti , an in-depth study curated by AIS teacher Vito Francesco D'Amanti dedicated to international vines intended for the production of great Venetian wines. “ Vinetia Tasting – Veneto in the Glass – explains Gianpaolo Breda – is designed to enhance not only the quality of the wines, but also the history, culture and passion that lie behind each bottle. Vinetia Tasting is much more than a wine event: it is an encounter with the roots of our territory, a journey through viticultural landscapes that tell centuries-old stories. This day is a tribute to the mastery of our producers, custodians of traditions that are renewed with every sip." At 11.00 the Dino Marchi Memorial takes place, a recognition dedicated to the former President of AIS Veneto and charismatic figure in the world of Sommellerie, which this year rewards five companies of the Veneto Wine Guide Vinetia for the role played in as many categories: protection of landscape, protection of biodiversity and historic vines, promotion of the territory and wine tourism, social commitment and promotion of art and culture.
