Vinarius presents “Oltrepò Wine Experience”

From 15 to 21 April the Oltrepò Wine Experience will take place, a week dedicated to Pinot Noir from Oltrepò Pavese. In 26 wine shops, located throughout the peninsula, there will be wines from 20 Oltrepò wineries available thanks to the second edition of the initiative organized by Paviasviluppo and Vinarius which, for an entire week, offers tastings in the Italian realities associated with Vinarius. After the success of the tasting of the Classic Method DOCG last October, from 15 to 21 April the protagonist will be the Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC, the brilliant ruby prince of our hills. With 3 thousand hectares of cultivation, the Oltrepò Pavese represents the first area in Italy in terms of extension and one of the most important worldwide for this vine; 75% of the Italian Pinot Noir vineyard , in fact, is cultivated in our province. Here it expresses itself with its two souls, the precious one of red vinification and the refined one of the Classic Method bubbles thanks to the unique characteristics of the soil, the particular climate and the commitment of the local wineries. “ We strongly believe in this initiative which will take the wines of the Territory on tour around Italy to symbolic places for the dissemination of the culture of the world of wine. The association is well represented, also on this occasion, thanks to the positive participation of wine shops in almost all Italian regions and, for us, this is a great result ", states Andrea Terraneo , President of Vinarius.
