A new way of experiencing one's passion for food and wine has arrived in Venice: the three events scheduled at the _ docks _ cantieri cucchini , in San Pietro Di Castello on 2, 4 and 23 February 2024 go beyond the concept of guided tasting.
In these spaces far from the frenzy of mass tourism, art, wine and food come together in a trio of cultural interpretations of Food&Wine, as part of the ENOLOGISMI project by project manager, sommelier and wine and food stylist Laura Riolfatto.
WALK on the WINE SIDE | FRIDAY 2 FEBRUARY | 7.30pm
What do natural wines sound like? The revolutionary one of rock ! Conducting this wine concert are Gianpaolo Giacobbo , with more than thirty years of experience in the wine field, and the sommelier and popularizer Massimo Zardo . They expose the original correlation between natural wines and rock music through moments of listening to vinyl, accompanied by a selection of four ARKÉ distribution wines paired with finger food.

GLASSES AT THE TABLE BETWEEN HISTORY AND DESIGN | SUNDAY 4 FEBRUARY | 11.00 am
Water , important red wine, fresh and fruity white wine, persistent sparkling wine, colorful cocktail: every situation, as we know, requires a suitable glass. But which? The event on Sunday 4 February led by Alessia Cipolla , architect, food designer and gastronomy historian, offers a conversation around the fascinating world of glass design , to learn how to elevate the style of the table thanks to advice to put into practice immediately . Learning the history of the glass and the functionality of its shapes allows you to arrange the glass without making mistakes, from the informal table to the most chic occasions. To complete the event, traditional Italian finger food paired with three wines.

INTREPIDE Stories of women, wine and freedom | FRIDAY 23 FEBRUARY | 7.00 pm
Bold, extraordinary, ordinary and indeed, intrepid . These are the women told by Laura Donadoni , writer, journalist and wine educator, who through this collection of stories narrates the lives of entrepreneurs, winemakers and oenologists. The book INTREPIDE (Slow Food Editore 2023) is a profound research, which makes you think and which investigates with an intimate, sociological and confidential style, the difficulties that a woman finds herself facing in a sector that is still predominantly male.
During the evening some producers will tell their story through the tasting of three wines paired with traditional finger food.
