“Last year was a great return, after the Covid break, and everything gives hope that we will now far exceed attendances. The shows, the artists and the food and wine offer are of the highest level and quality, as always – comments Francesco Perillo, president of Cantina di Venosa -. On the other hand, the great public participation in recent years also demonstrates the roots and attachment to the territory and its community of winemakers of our cooperative winery, a company that the Venosini feel close to".
With 350 wine-growing members, 800 hectares of vineyards, a yield of 50 thousand quintals of grapes (90% A glianico ) and 35 thousand hectoliters of wine, Cantina di Venosa is one of the most important cooperative companies in the South and among the most awarded in the various national and international wine competitions. Production amounts to a total of 2 million bottles - out of a potential of 5 million - plus 60% in bulk. There are 24 labels, mostly from Aglianico del Vulture, both Doc and Docg.
