Langhe and Roero in Piazza... with the Granda! In Alba, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November

The Go Wine Association, in agreement with the Alba International White Truffle Fair Authority, is promoting the Langhe and Roero in Piazza… con la Granda event in Alba, now in its twenty-third edition. On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November in Piazza Risorgimento, the protagonists will be exclusive products or products particularly linked to the typicality of the Langhe and Roero area, together with other food and wine excellences of the Granda province.

In the splendid setting of Piazza Risorgimento overlooking the Town Hall, the Cathedral and the Towers of the city, a route will wind through tasting stands, each of which presents and tells the story of a single product: cheeses (from Tome di Langa to Bra and also Raschera and Castelmagno), products of the land - from Porro di Cervere to mushrooms, to Cappone di Morozzo, some of the most well-known sweet specialties: from pralines to nougat, to Baci di Cherasco up to the sought-after Nocciola Tonda Gentile delle Langhe. And then again: cured meats and fresh pasta with Tajarin and Ravioli del Plin.

The historic center will be pervaded by the aromas of various specialties.

A street of flavors to enhance the great quality products of the Alba area and the province of Cuneo.

Alongside the gastronomic excellence, there will also be wine: some wineries will be present directly, as well as a large wine shop, where approximately 100 labels from Langhe and Roero will be presented for tasting, representing the best wine production in the area.
