To mark in your diary for the first weekend, Friday 4 October starting at 7pm, The deer's roar on Baldo in Brentonico , with dinner at the Maso Palù restaurant followed by a guided walk in the woods, and Saturday 5 October Marzemino in festa in Isera , from 2.30pm to 11pm, with workshops for children, train tours through the vineyards and tastings. Sunday 6th we move to Floricoltura Roncador in Mezzolombardo for Gin&Ginepri , with gin tasting. Throughout the weekend, there will also be the opportunity to participate in the Freshwater Fish Festival in Alto Garda , with many initiatives such as the multi-handed dinner Fizz & Fish, and the Pumpkin Festival in Pergine Valsugana , with creative moments dedicated to children and adults, themed exhibitions, demonstrations of ancient crafts, artisanship and, of course, gastronomy.
On Saturday 12 October , starting at 9.45 am, Tenuta Gottardi in Cembra Lisignago will host Passeggiate Di-Vigna , with a walk and tasting of winery products accompanied by cured meats and cheeses, while from 10 am to 2 pm, Maso Grener in Pressano di Lavis will present its new Trento Doc with Qualcosa di nuovo al maso , with a visit to the vineyard and tasting paired with local gastronomic products. And then, throughout the weekend, the two big autumn events: Autumnus in Trento , with workshops, tastings, show cooking and the “narrated aperitifs” of the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino, and Dolo-Vini-Miti , the vertical wine festival scheduled between Val di Cembra and Val di Fiemme , with masterclasses, gourmet trekking, aperitifs with a view of the Dolomites, conferences, shows and a travelling dinner among the “caneve”. Both events will continue into the following weekend .
The following weekend, the undisputed protagonists will be chestnuts and marrons. On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th Brentonico hosts the Festa del Marrone , with sweets, beer, liqueurs based on the famous fruit, as well as the possibility of visiting the suggestive chestnut grove, while Drena i Maroni in festa , with music, workshops and show-cooking. Only for Sunday , in addition, Vivai Brugna in Trento organizes Castagne, zucca e magia , a cheerful chestnut festival accompanied by entertainment for the whole family.
On Friday 25 October, the Cantine Mezzacorona-Rotari in San Michele all'Adige will blow out another candle in a now historic event with the One Hundred and Twentieth Harvest : an evening dedicated to Teroldego Rotaliano with guided tours and tastings. On Friday and Saturday , it will also return with Reboro, Territory and Passion , in homage to the renowned wine, with tours and tastings between Valle dei Laghi and Riva del Garda . Only on Saturday 26 , from 9:00 to 13:00, Cantine Ferrari will offer Vineyards between past, present and future , with a walk accompanied by the modern vineyards of the Trento hill to the sixteenth-century ones of the frescoes of Villa Margon, with a final tasting, while at 11:00, Innesti Restaurant in Pergine will offer the special autumn Brunch , for a decidedly different start to the day than usual. Finally, throughout the weekend, Comano Terme will celebrate the most famous and widespread tuber with the now traditional Potato Festival .
The various weekends are also enriched with events repeated on multiple dates, such as the walks with tasting of Vigneti d'autunno by Maso Poli in Pressano di Lavis, every Saturday at 10.30 and 14.30; Divin Teroldego by Endrizzi in San Michele all'Adige , every Sunday, or 100% Nosiola by Cantina Toblino in Sarche di Madruzzo , every Saturday and Sunday from 15.00 to 16.00, with a tasting of four expressions of this wine paired with local products.
And then the excursion proposals every Saturday and Sunday, such as Tra masi, vinicoltura e contrade ad Ala – on foot or by bike, starting from the Azienda La Cadalora – or A Terragnolo, between trekking and flavours with the snack-aperitif proposal of Osteria 33.
There are also different dates for the Autumn Snacks at Innesti Restaurant in Pergine Valsugana (13, 20 and 27 October) with tasty dishes accompanied by live music to best end an afternoon walk in the area.
The DiVin October event is organized by the Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino with the support of the Trentino - Alto Adige Region and La Trentina.
