The cooperative of Umbrian wineries is preparing to participate in Slow Wine fair Bologna, Wine Paris, Prowein and Vinitaly 2025: the regional wine excellences will be the protagonists at the major international fairs

Umbria Top Wines , the cooperative that brings together the majority of Umbrian wineries, inaugurates the 2025 calendar of international promotional activities by participating in four important trade fairs: Wine Paris, Slow Wine Fair in Bologna, ProWein in Düsseldorf and Vinitaly 2025.

" We face the new year with renewed enthusiasm, a strengthened team and a vision that combines tradition and innovation to promote the excellence of Umbrian wine throughout the world ," says Massimo Sepiacci , President of Umbria Top Wines.

In all the fairs – adds Gioia Bacoccoli , coordinator of Umbria Top – we will promote the concept “ Roots ”, which aims to rediscover the origins of Umbrian wine production through a multidisciplinary approach, enhancing the botanical, agronomic and environmental peculiarities of the territory” .

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2025

From February 10 to 12, Umbria Top will fly to Paris to participate in Wine Paris & Vinexpo, one of the most prestigious international events for the wine sector. The event, which will host over 4,000 exhibitors and more than 100 events including workshops, tastings and conferences, represents a first-rate showcase for Umbrian wines.

There will be 19 participating Umbrian wineries: Antonelli San Marco, Blasi Cantina, Berioli Winery, Cardèto SCA Winery, Colle Ciocco Winery, Castello di Montegiove, Cesarini Sartori, Chiorri, Fattoria Le Poggette, Goretti, La Madeleine, Le Cimate, Lungarotti, Perticaia, Roccafiore Organic Wines, Scacciadiavoli, Tenuta Bellafonte, Terre Margaritelli and Tudernum. The Umbria Top stand will be located in Hall 6 B071.

Slow Wine Fair - Bologna

Umbria Top will be present for the third edition at the Slow Wine Fair in Bologna, from 23 to 25 February, an event dedicated to producers who promote sustainable and quality winemaking practices. An important opportunity to enhance the Umbrian territory through the story of its cellars and production practices attentive to environmental sustainability and tradition.

Here is the list of participating wineries: Baldassarri, Blasi Cantina, Leonardo Bussoletti, Castello di Montegiove Cesarini Sartori, Chiorri, Colle Ciocco, Colle Uncinano, Daniele Rossi, Decugnano dei Barbi, Di Filippo, Fongoli, Le Cimate, Madrevite, Mevante, Palazzone, Scacciadiavoli, Tenuta Freddano, Terre Margaritelli, Agricola Casaioli

ProWein 2025 - Dusseldorf

From March 16 to 18, Umbria Top will fly to Germany to participate in ProWein in Düsseldorf, the most important international event in the sector. Six Umbrian wineries will be present in the Italian Pavilion: Blasi Cantina, Cantina Berioli, Chiorri, Fattoria Le Poggette, Moretti Omero Organic Wines and Tudernum.

To complete the offer, the Perugia Chamber of Commerce will be present as a special exhibitor, presenting the winners of the 2025 Regional Wine Competition "L'Umbria del Vino" at a "wine shop" stand. Umbrian producers will also be busy these days participating in a calendar of initiatives with ICE Agency - masterclasses and walk around tastings with international buyers and speakers from the Meininger publishing house.

Vinitaly 2025 - Verona

From 6 to 9 April, Umbria Top will be the protagonist at Vinitaly 2025, the Italian event dedicated to the world of wine, which will be held in Verona. In the area dedicated to Umbrian wines, the associated wineries will present their most representative labels, highlighting the regional winemaking excellence. Participation in Vinitaly represents a strategic opportunity to consolidate presence on national and international markets, meet operators in the sector and start new commercial collaborations.

The "ROOTS" concept will guide the narration of the stand, emphasizing the deep connection between tradition, territory and innovation. The protagonists will be themes such as biodiversity, historical production techniques, historical archaeological traces linked to wine production of which the Green Heart is very rich and all to be enhanced but which, by connecting the agricultural sector with tourism, could represent a new method of mapping regional excellence and inviting to Umbria in a new spirit of discovery. . The UmbriaTop initiatives are included in the initiatives to promote certified Umbrian productions promoted by the UmbriaTop Wines Cooperative as part of the measure of the CSR Umbria 2023-2027 - intervention SRG10 "Promotion of quality products".
