THE SOUND OF PIZZA - The Pizza Festival

Countdown to the first edition of The Sound of Pizza the one-of-a-kind event dedicated to true pizza enthusiasts from Lombardy and beyond. A format that mixes two spectacular ingredients: DJ Set and tasting with some of the best pizzerias in the Lombardy capital.

An all-Milan festival dedicated to the most successful Italian food in the world, pizza, on 23 and 24 September 2023 from 12pm to 10pm, within one of the most popular locations of the summer, the Circolo Magnolia at the Idroscalo in Milan . Garage.Pizza and Circolo Magnolia are the official co-organizers of The Sound of Pizza, the Milan Pizza Festival for Milan under the artistic direction of Antonio Fucito and Nicholas Tozzo; as the official Media Partner it will follow the event exclusively for its readers, who have always been attentive to haute cuisine, issues relating to catering and gourmet proposals in pizzerias.

The Sound of Pizza is a weekend dedicated to good food, musical entertainment and relaxation with some of the best pizzerias in Lombardy to discover the art of pizza , take tasting courses through classic, innovative and gourmet proposals and participate in classrooms and workshops on dough , on homemade pizza and much more. A convivial and friendly atmosphere, to be enjoyed in relaxation, for those who love one of the comfort foods par excellence, pizza, in its thousand variations and declinations.

THE FOOD & BEVERAGE AREA

Present at the event were the best pizzerias on the Milanese scene: Assaje , Biga, La Pizza Popolare , Da Zero, Lievità, Peperino for gluten-free, and the guest star Pizzerie Errico Porzio from Naples. The pizza will be served by the slice and each pizzeria will offer a margherita and two special gourmet pizzas created specifically for The Sound of Pizza. At The Sound of Pizza each pizzeria will use its own ingredients and use its own secrets: visitors will thus be able to take a real pizza tasting journey , slice after slice, accompanied by the wines of the Cantina Urbana Milano Wine Collective (the first winery producing wines in the city in Milan) and Leffe beer, and finish the tastings with the Neapolitan pastries of Aroma Napoletano Milano with its croissants, fried staples and Neapolitan puffs. The water will instead be available in special corners (strictly plastic free ).

THE WORKSHOP AND MASTERCLASS AREA LEAVENLY

The activities at The Sound of Pizza don't stop here: within the event there is a free workshop and masterclass area managed by yeast , The homemade pizza festival : true enthusiasts will literally be able to 'get their hands in the dough' ' and participate in the proposed meetings. Meetings for all tastes: masterclasses on pairing beer, wine and cocktails with pizza, workshops to discover all the secrets of homemade pizza, round and in the pan, a meeting with Errico Porzio and the Master Final of the Cornicione di Molino Vigevano.

THE MUSIC

The soundtrack will be the live music of Circolo Magnolia which will keep you company until 10pm, with moments of relaxation and entertainment.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SOUND OF PIZZA

TICKETS AND ENTRY The cost of the entrance ticket is 6.5 euros, including a slice of pizza, plenty of water and access to the workshop and masterclass area; Entry is free for children under 6 years old.
